Turkey Environmental and Cultural Sustainability Program · Stage 2
Sustainability
At Seshane sustainability is not an attitude but a documented, measured practice. We track energy, water and waste figures every year and buy locally.
Our Certificates
Turkey Environmental and Cultural Sustainability Program
Stage 2, verified against GSTC criteria. The program assesses the environmental and social performance of accommodation properties through independent audit.
Zero Waste Certificate
A Zero Waste Management System is in place. Plastic, glass, metal, paper and non-recyclable waste are collected separately, and organic waste is composted.

What We Do
Energy
LED lighting throughout the property. All appliances are A+ energy class.
Water
Low-flow shower heads and water-saving practices. Use is measured per person and tracked yearly.
Waste
Waste is separated under the zero waste system, and organic waste is composted and used in the garden.
Sourcing
We buy from the region and directly from producers wherever we can. Produce grown in the garden is used in the kitchen.
Our Policies
Our written policies are published in our sustainability report. You can request them for your supplier assessment process.

In purchasing we prefer companies that employ a high proportion of women, and we favor local employment.

Guest Feedback

Biodiversity
We choose practices that do not disturb biodiversity on and around the property and take measures against invasive species. We donate saplings regularly to the TEMA Foundation.
